The brutal murder of a young engineer on a train to Madurai and the continuing mystery

J. Rajesh Prabhu boarded Nagercoil-Tirupati-Mumbai Express to his native Madurai on January 13, 2008, to celebrate Pongal. He was found murdered on the train. Investigators arrested five persons on January 28, 2010. The next year, the trial court acquitted all the accused. The Madurai Bench upheld the trial court’s verdict in 2016
