K.V. Pramod was accused by a doctor’s family of offering her a post in the PSC and accepting bribe for it. The family later retracted the allegation Pramod maintained his innocence. However, the party expelled him citing anti-party activities. Factionalism within the party could have led to the incident, according to political analysts
