Hope and despair at the homes of workers trapped in Uttarakhand avalanche

Pinky Kumari of Prataptand village of Vaishali district in Bihar has faith that her husband Naresh Rajat is alive and will come back home soon. The family of Vijay Kumar from the same village has no information of his survival yet. His leave for Holi was approved only a day before the avalanche and his inconsolable mother has not eaten anything since. Meanwhile, the Indian Army said the BRO is compiling the list of those rescued and the dead.
