Demand for more MEMU trains, mainly in Kollam-Alappuzha-Ernakulam corridor

The extension work on the MEMU shed, halted due to a land ownership dispute with the Kollam Corporation, is being resolved, and the pending work will be completed shortly to facilitate repairs of 16-coach MEMU rakes, says railway sources
