Cooperative movement suffered due to policy inaction in past, were almost dead: Shah

As cooperation is a State subject under the Constitutional arrangement, initiatives were not taken by the erstwhile governments to frame cooperative laws adapting to rapidly changing conditions across the country, the Union Home Minister says. He credits the Modi government for reviving the sector by taking decisive actions.
